Hello SystemVerilog Members,
Please join me to extend our welcome to Johny Srouji as the Chairman
of SystemVerilog Basic Committee. Karen Pieper has done an excellent job so
far chairing the SV-VC committee as the co-chair. Karen will continue to
help in co-chairing this committee.
Johny's group at Intel has implemented SystemVerilog 3.0. The Intel
group provided the first valuable feedback for implementing SystemVerilog
3.0. He has chaired many committees within Intel. So he comes with good
background and experience to help in the development of SystemVerilog 3.1.
I have made it my personal goal to ensure that we have at least one
user in the leadership position for each Accellera committee and especially
SystemVerilog committees.
I want to thank Johny for volunteering to support this activity.
