Hello All,
When discussing the issues marked SV-BC-19-21, SV-BC-19-24, and SV-BC-19-26
and we voted that we should adopt the ETF decision on the issue labeled as
ETF#200. This issue passed the ETF (etfpassed) therefore I assume we should
adopt it.
However
1. please note that the ETF fix reads :
3. NO CHANGE TO
name_of_gate_instance ::= gate_instance_identifier [ range ]
name_of_udp_instance ::= udp_instance_identifier [ range ]
name_of_instance ::= module_instance_identifier [ range ]
Where in our case it should read :
3. NO CHANGE TO
name_of_gate_instance ::= gate_instance_identifier { range }
name_of_udp_instance ::= udp_instance_identifier [ range ]
name_of_instance ::= module_instance_identifier { range }
2 In the original System-Verilog BNF the square brackets in the
name_of_udp_instance were in bold (even they are not in bold in the
1364-2001 BNF)
name_of_udp_instance ::= udp_instance_identifier [ range ]
This was an errata part of issue SV-BC-19-26 . However due to the fact that
in the ETF # 200 fix these brackets are not in bold I assume the ETF fix
also fixes this errata in System-Verilog.
Please let me know if my assumptions are not true.
