Subject: [sv-bc] Process for BNF and LRM changes

Greetings,
Now that we have someone assigned to handle the BNF issues for 3.1a I would
like to describe the process the chairs discussed using for BNF issues.
1. All BNF issues need to be developed by the committees and reviewed by or
worked through with Brad Pierce.
2. Once an agreed upon BNF (or any other LRM) change is made it needs to be
sent to me so that I can include it in the www.eda.org/sv/LRMChanges.html
page (and the supporting material behind it). This will allow us to keep a
record of all changes to the 3.1a LRM and a single place where all changes
can be reconciled (to make sure that two different groups do not make
incompatible changes to the same section).
3. Once these changes are accepted then they are available so that Stu can
make the changes to the next draft of the LRM and Brad can create an updated
hypertext BNF for use by the committees.
If anyone has suggestions on how to improve this process please let me know.
Regards
David
