Hi Doug,
I do not think (1) is an issue. For the purposes of $readmemb,
int can be treated as reg[31:0]
enum can be treated as reg[31:0] (default size) or whatever size
is specified.
Only dynamic data such as strings, class handles etc do not work, and they
should be disallowed.
