As of this morning the following is the status of the vote:
Eligible Accellera members:
Cadence - no word
Model Tech/Mentor - Approve
Sun Microsystems - Approve
Synopsys - Approve
Eligible IEEE members:
Stefan Boyd - Approve
Kevin Cameron - Approve
Cliff Cummings - Approve
Most of the votes were sent directly to me. This was not my intent but I
understand how it happened based on the wording. Clearly the voting
process must be open to be fair. I have included each of the emails that
was sent directly to me.
As it now stands there are 6 votes to approve and 1 abstain. The
donation is approved.

Based on the motion that was made and seconded at the 4 September
meeting it is now time to vote
on the acceptance of the Synopsys testbench donation.
The vote will proceed using the guidelines presented in the Operating
Guidelines:
http://www.eda.org/sv-ec/Operating_Guidelines.txt in section 5C. This
is, one vote per company with
IEEE members that are not affiliated with an Accellera member company
also having a vote. Companies
and IEEE members must have been to either 3 out of the last 4 meetings
or 75% overall attendance.
Since I do not have an explicit list of who is an IEEE member I have
assumed that anyone that is
attending the meetings, but not part of an Accellera member compay, is
an IEEE member. Please send me
corrections if you are not an IEEE member nor part of an Accellera
member company.
The following is the list of eligible companies to vote (please have the
responsible person cast the vote):

Co-Design (now part of Synopsys so must vote with Synopsys)

The information on who is eligible is based on the records we have been
keeping for each meeting. I
have included my spreadsheet that has the list of attendees and the
method of deciding who is eligible.
If I have made any mistakes accept my apologies and please send in your
response vote and what is
incorrect in my records.

the next phase of our work.
