The precedence change suggested in this proposal conflicts with the
usage of
weight expression in constraint specification. A better solution is to
allow
optional parenthesis around the rule or the weight expression.

There is no explanation as to why this change is necessary now. Its
better
to discuss the semantics of the current feature and any problems with
it,
rather than remove it.
