Hi All,

Yesterday, I was informed by Dennis and Noelle that both P1800 and P1364
were recommended for approval by RevCom. These standards will be voted by
IEEE SASB (IEEE-SA Standards Board) for final approval on 7 November.

These are great news and an important milestone for both of these
standards. It is also a great achievement that you have all worked very
hard to make, and it shows the excellent progress that was made both by
Accellera and under the IEEE in getting these standards approved in a
short period.

I believe this will serve users and EDA communities at the same time, and
I would like to sincerely thank every and each one of you for making this
happen. I also thank the P1800 WG members and officers for their
commitment, dedication and excellent collaboration on reaching this goal.

Lastly, I would like to thank Vassilios Gerousis, as I believe he had a
great impact initiating, driving and enabling SystemVerilog.

A great way to start the weekend ;-) have a great one!

--- Johny.
