[sv-bc] Port connection with <> syntax

Hi,
I got an RTL with the following types of syntax for an instance:
dummy inst <$typeof(q)> (.o(<(q)>),.clk(clock ),.db(<~(i)>
),.eb(~(enable)));

I could not get any LRM specification for this syntax.
It is claimed some tools pass the syntax, though all standard simulators
fail for the case.

Can anyone let me know the syntax/semantic definition of the same.
