Re: [sv-ec] Re: [sv-bc] question on str.putc()

This characteristic, that under certain conditions, you take the first
characters of a string, and in other cases, you take the last characters,
is confusing and not well explained. I've been unable to figure out the
rules clearly.

I also think it is inconsistent, but maybe others would disagree with
that. But at the very least, it is very difficult to understand.
