[sv-bc] IEEE Std. 1800-2005 Available for Purchase

Dear SystemVerilog WG and Observers,
 
  I have had several questions for observers how and where they can
purchase the 1800-2005 and the 1364-2005 specifications following the
announcement yesterday that the final version of 1800-2005 was available
for download to working group members.  I also had a couple of emails
alerting me to the fact that 1800-2005 is not available at the IEEE
Xplore website that many companies subscribe to that allow access to
completed IEEE standards.
 
  The 1800-2005 standard is available and the last draft of 1364-2005 is
available for purchase as well.  The IEEE is still doing the final edits
for publication of 1364-2005.  As such, only the last draft is available
for sale at this time.  Because much of the upfront costs to produce the
1800-2005 standard were covered by the Entity participants, you will
find the cost to purchase is lower than one might normally see for an
IEEE standard.  The following links will take you to the "Shop IEEE"

  For  those who work at companies that have purchased licenses to IEEE
Xplore (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/), you know that within your company
you have unlimited access to all IEEE standards and can download them
for free.  The IEEE Xplore website is separate from Shop IEEE and it
will take between 2 to 4 weeks for the 1800-2005 specification to be
published and made available at IEEE Xplore.  Once it is at the IEEE
Xplore website, I will send another message for those who wish to
download from this site.
