Sandeep, It's my opinion that there are no multi-dimensional arrays, just single dimensional arrays of other arrays. The term "multi-dimensional" is just a conceptual view that refers to the nesting of adjacent array types. Array manipulation and query methods should only work on a single dimension unless there is an explicit algorithm for traversing adjacent dimensions. With each new revision of the LRM, we have tried to clean up this distinction. Mantis 1362 is a placeholder for some of the remaining issues. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-sv-ac@server.eda.org [mailto:owner-sv-ac@server.eda.org] On > Behalf Of Sandeep Dasgupta > Sent: Wednesday, March 21, 2007 2:05 AM > To: sv-ac@server.eda-stds.org; Moumita > Subject: [sv-ac] Queries related to array methods of system verilog. > > > Hi, > Please answer the following queries related to array methods of system > verilog. > > Thanks and Regards, > Sandeep Dasgupta. > > > > > > -- > This message has been scanned for viruses and > dangerous content by MailScanner, and is > believed to be clean. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.Received on Mon Mar 26 18:22:34 2007
