Thanks. Then the following sentence in 22.10 (p. 579 middle) also needs to change: "It shall be an error to use noninstance-based binding if the design contains more than one variation of the target module, program, or interface." I also note that the following sentence references `uselib, the only place it appears in the LRM. "This can occur in the presence of configuration library mapping or nonstandard functionality such as provided by the `uselib directive." It's not critical, but I don't think it should appear here if it is not itself described in the LRM. Finally, returning to the original subject, the beginning of 22.10 also says, "With this feature, a user can bind a module, interface, or program instance to a module or a module instance." While true, this probably should also mention interfaces as bind targets. Shalom, The BNF is correct. A program cannot be the target of a bind statement as programs cannot contain other instances. Programs are leaf items in the structural hierarchy. Unless that has been enhanced, the verbiage of 22.10 is incorrect and should exclude programs. Hi, In Draft 3, 22.10 says, "bind_target_scope specifies a target scope into which the bind_instantiation should be inserted. Possible target scopes include module, program, and interface declarations." Yet in the BNF, bind_target_scope ::= module_identifier | interface_identifier I don't see in the BNF that the bind target can be a program?
