[sv-bc] SV-BC request for extension of feature freeze

Karen & Neil.

This is a note to bring to your attention a matter that was
voted on in today's SV-BC meeting.  Specifically, the
committee unanimously voted to request a 1 month extension
of the feature freeze to have time to address name resolution
issues as well as other issues identified by Neil (JEITA and
1800-2005) and a limited set of issues to be determined by
October 15.



  Shalom moves to request a 1 month extension of feature freeze
  to address name resolution issues.  
  Gord seconds.
  No opposed.
  No abstain.
  Motion passes.
  AI: Matt to communicate extension request to 1800 including
information
  that not addressing these issues risks implementation divergence.

Please note that if the issues, especially those with name resolution,
are not addressed, the results will most likely be divergent
implementations.
