Hi, The proposal for Mantis 2106, the one we need to re-approve, had the following sentence, ""A variable declaration shall precede any statements within a procedural block and shall precede any simple reference (non-hierarchical) to that variable." On further thought, I found that wording a little ambiguous. One might think that the second half of the sentence is a continuation of the first half and thus refers only to variables declared within procedural blocks. I have reworded that as follows, "A variable declaration shall precede any simple reference (non-hierarchical) to that variable. Variable declarations shall precede any statements within a procedural block." I have uploaded a new version of the proposal to Mantis, version 3, also attached. This is the version we should vote on. <<2106_type_data_names.V3.htm>> Thanks, Shalom Shalom Bresticker Intel Jerusalem LAD DA +972 2 589-6582 +972 54 721-1033 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Intel Israel (74) Limited This e-mail and any attachments may contain confidential material for the sole use of the intended recipient(s).
