Hi, 5.7.1 says, Sized negative literal constant numbers and sized signed literal constant numbers are sign-extended when assigned to a logic data type, regardless of whether the logic itself is signed. Isn't that true whenever the right-hand side of an assignment is signed and for any data type on the left-hand side? If so, why make a special case for this? If not, why not?
