Hi,
In the 'Setting parameters in configurations' chapter there are
following restrictions described. My confusions described in blue text.
— Parameters identifiers shall be resolved starting in the parent scope
of the instance. If a hierarchical identifier is used, it must be the
only term in the expression, e.g., a.b.c + 7 is invalid.
"Is the referred "hierarchical identifier"
referring parameter override expression of that parameter identifier?
If not then what it is referring to? Please give some example."
— Parameter identifiers that bind into the parent of the configured
instance shall be identifiers that are legal in a bind statement.
"What can be an illegal parameter identifier in
bind statement? Please give some example."
— Hierarchical references cannot include scopes
of generate or array of instances.
"Is the "hierarchical references" referring
parameter override expression or instance hierarchical reference?
Please give some example."
