You're quite correct on both points! I would just delete both the override and the comment, as they are not essential to the example. This is clearly an editorial correction, in my opinion. Module bus_conn does not have any parameter, and to override a parameter, this type of syntax is not allowed. Please correct the example. I am filing a Mantis against that.
