I have shared details of the publication of IEEE Std. 1800(tm)-2009 at

For those with Xplore access, you can download it for free.  Others who
wish to purchase single-unit copies will need to visit shop.ieee.org
(search for 1800).  The price is $260 for IEEE members and $325 for
non-members.

the discussion of what should go into the next revision.
