It seems those of us fools that use Microsoft Windows Explorer (a.k.a.
Exploder) cannot easily download the PDF files for draft 1. On some
systems, at least, Exploder sees the .pdf extension, and automatically
opens Adobe Acrobat instead of just downloading the files. Acrobat and my
web server don't get along too well when the file is very large, and
Acrobat ends up hanging up.
As a work around, I've created two more files, and .zip and a .tar.Z
(gzip), with the two PDF files within them. So, you can now download one
of the the following:

http://www.sutherland-hdl.com/download/vlog-pp-draft1.tar.Z
You may still need to use your web browser to download the files: Just type
in the full path and file name as the URL. You cannot use FTP to download
the files. The consultant that set up my web server feels FTP is one of
the world's great evils, and pretty much disables it on my server.

Draft 1 of our efforts to standardize a subset of Superlog is now ready to
download. I was able to convert everything to Framemaker except:
- The BNF (I'll convert that after we review it)
- The chapter on Interfaces (Tom Fitzpatrick has not finished revising it yet)
I've added all the changes that we have approved in our meeting up to this
point.
I also came up with a not too creative name for our work, "Verilog
Extensions for System Level Design", or "Verilog ESLD". It's easy to
change, if/when the committee comes up with a better title.
You can download "Verilog ESLD draft 1" and the most recent BNF from
Co-design from your web browser (ftp won't work). Just point your web
browser to the following two files:

The files probably won't open correctly in your web browser. You need to
download them first, and open them locally.
