If we are considering minor enhancements like these that Brad suggests, I would add

Including the ability to declare virtual interfaces for interfaces that have interface ports, as long as those interface ports are declared with full parameterization, and any interface ports in those interfaces meet the same requirements.

We have users interested in this capability.
