Yes, that is correct.

The delay expression is not restricted to any particular lifetime
(static/automatic/dynamic)

Section 15.10 of the LRM says that a cycle delay expression can be any
expression which evaluates to a

positive integer value.

 

I think that includes expression of dynamic types such as automatic
class members or element of a dynamic array.

 

Is that right?
