Be careful: ________________________________ From: owner-sv-bc@eda.org [mailto:owner-sv-bc@eda.org] On Behalf Of Jacobi, Dan Sent: Monday, December 12, 2005 2:53 AM To: sv-bc@eda.org Subject: [sv-bc] Easy issues From the issues I transferred from the old data base: Some easy ones: Issue: 1662 http://eda.org/svdb/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001162 A.1.4: list_of_port_declarations BNF rule I recommend closing this issue, The BNF is not intended to be implemented as a Yacc file - it is intended to be informative [Shalom: ] The issue here was that the current BNF implies that parentheses without a list of port names in a module declaration. e.g., "module m();", implies that it is an ANSI-style port list, where it is not (possibly open to argument). Without connection to that, let's be precise. While the BNF is not intended to be implemented as a Yacc file as is, it is still normative, not informative. Issues: 1223 & 0931 BNF should be hyperlinked http://eda.org/svdb/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001223 http://eda.org/svdb/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0000931 Both talk about the BNF (Annex A) formatting and should be merged into one issue [Shalom: ] The difference between them was that 931 related to 1800, whereas 1223 relates to 1364.
