Thanx for sending this so carefully worded - this is good.
Regarding both committees - I thought the plan was that the Assertion
committee reviewed the Assertions and voted on it and that if anybody in
the vlog-pp group wanted to be in the assertions committee they could be -
there seems little point in having two committees looking at it - with two
chairs etc.
My recommendation is that the Assertion committee focuses on the Assertions
and anybody who wants to join it can - and it is unnecessary to be copying
everybody - each committee should only cc its own group - that is what I
suggest - ie if you are interested - then join the committee.
