Greetings!
I apologize for the interruption on the assertion@eda.org and
vlog-pp@eda.org reflectors to pass the following message on to you.
At the Accellera board meeting last week, a motion was made and approved to
have the board review the technical committee rules and guidelines,
technology donation policy and to ensure they are in sync with Accellera's
bylaws. We gave ourselves one week to complete the initial review and
provide feedback to the board.
Although conversations on this topic continue on these email reflectors, it
is neither necessary nor productive. The reflectors are in place to allow
the technical groups to go about the business their work. It is true
Accellera grants great latitude to all of its technical committees and to
the chairs of the technical committee to organize as they see best fit to
accomplish your tasks.
Accellera's board will be more than happy to share with each of the
committee chairs the outcome of this analysis to ensure the communication
between Accellera's board and you, as technical contributors, remains
strong, constructive and productive. To ensure transparency between the
board and each technical contributor such that your comments reach the
Accellera board, please feel free pass you comments to the full board at
accellera_bod@accellera.org.
